CEIR Releases New Study
DALLAS, 3 February 2012 – Today, the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) released an update to the 2009 report, The Spend Decision: Analyzing How Exhibits Fit into the Overall Marketing Budget, which provides an analysis of the changes and trends in the exhibition industry during the past several years, how the economy has impacted the global industry, and the outlook for the near future. Seven Honored as IAEE Top Public Events for 2011
DALLAS, 25 January 2012 – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) launched the Top Public Event Program at its Mid-Year Meeting in June 2011 resulting in seven events being honored at the Annual Awards and Networking Luncheon held 8 December 2011 during Expo! Exhibition Industry Summit II Planned for 24 February at Georgia World Congress Center
DALLAS, 23 January 2012 – Following the significant progress of the first Exhibition Industry Summit held 6 October 2011 in Irving, Texas, the participating organizations have agreed to meet at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga. on 24 February for Exhibition Industry Summit II. The objective of this meeting is to advance discussion about key industry issues identified at the first meeting and establish the framework for ongoing engagement by the organizations.

IAEE Public Events Council Names Metter 2012 Chair
DALLAS, 20 January 2012 ̶ The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) recognized Paul Schweitzer, vice president Business Development, Marketplace Events, at its 6 December 2011 meeting held during Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition in Las Vegas for four years of service (2008-2011) as chair of the public events council. During his tenure, Schweitzer led the council in bringing many new IAEE resources to the public event organizer.

Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition Wins Big in Las Vegas
DALLAS, 15 December 2011 – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) celebrates a highly successful Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition, held 6-8 December 2011 in Las Vegas, Nev. This year’s event attracted more than 2,200 attendees (pending independent audit) and 266 exhibitors to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
